Wheat, barley and canola pools to simplify the complexities of post-harvest grain marketing.

Advantage Grain Programs

Our 2, 4, 5 and 10 month structured programs let you set and forget, or we can tailor a sales program to specifically suit your business with Advantage Custom.

Advantage Structured Programs

Advantage Structured lets you set and forget and get back to doing what you love, farming!

There are four structured programs for you to choose from:

2 Month

CLOSED

Advantage 2 sells a 50% portion of your grain in January and then again in February. This program is perfect for farmers who wish to sell outside harvest pricing pressure but also wish to have their sales program complete in the first quarter of 2021.

4 Month

CLOSED

Advantage March 4 sells a 25% portion of your grain in March, April, May and June. The March 4 program stays open for transfers until early March so is perfect for farmers who either finish harvest late or want to take some more time to decide on their marketing strategy.

5 Month

CLOSED

Advantage 5 sells a 20% portion of your grain each month from January to May. This program has been the most popular over the years as it spreads grain sales over a medium term and captures possible price rallies that often occur due to the northern hemisphere growing seasons.

10 Month

CLOSED

Advantage 10 spreads price volatility risk across 10 months, selling a 10% portion of your grain each month from January to October. Advantage 10 is great to spread cashflow throughout the year and capture not only the possible northern hemisphere price rallies, but also potential Australian pre harvest rallies.

How does it work?

  • Transfer your grain to your chosen Advantage Structured program.
  • Choose your payment option.
  • Get on with farming.

We’ll start selling your wheat, barley or canola as per your chosen sales program and you’ll receive your payments as per your chosen payment option (outlined below). After every payment, you’ll automatically receive an RCTI from the team. It’s that simple.

Advantage Payment Options

Advantage has three payment options to choose from:

Advance Payments - Advantage Grain

Advance Payments

The advance payment option provides a 50-70% advance (depending on which program you enter in to) of the ESR value within 5 business days from transfer. The remaining per cent is paid on the 15th of the month after program closure.

Monthly Payments - Advantage Grain

Monthly Payments

If you choose the monthly payment option when you transfer your grain, you’ll receive a payment on the 15th of each month following the sales month. For example, if you’ve chosen the 5 month program you’ll receive a payment on the 15th of February, March, April, May and June.

Deferred Payments - Advantage Grain

Deferred Payments

If you choose the deferred payment with the 2, 4 or 5 month programs, you’ll receive the full payment for your grain sales in one lump sum on the 15th July. If you’ve chosen the 10 month program, you’ll receive payment for the first 5 months in July, then monthly payments until the sales program is complete.
